Karim Lakhani
Mr. Karim Lakhani is a pioneering technologist in the ICT area. He developed the Knowledge Delivery Engine (KDE) Technology, an Advanced Interactive proprietary asset. The KDE spawned compelling products such as CampusAxxess, SchoolAxxess and CommunityAxxess. These products enable education institutions and communities to access the Internet at high speeds even when the available bandwidth is low. Media-rich information such as eLearning content will be accessed at Local Area Network speeds despite the handicap of low bandwidth. This capability is pertinent to many regions in the world. Mr. Lakhani’s technology is now deployed in 12 countries by schools, colleges, universities and remote villages.
Mr. Lakhani also developed an archival and retrieval system of multimedia information for the US Senate, South Carolina Senate and the Republican National Committee. Most recently he has developed, filed and been awarded patents on two-way interactivity over existing cable networks in many countries.
