has developed a simple and yet powerful language learning tool in its LCMS.
The system allows for the easy integration of video, audio, animations,
illustrations and text into customizable learning activities and courseware.
The system is completely web-based and allows authors to create, update
and change activities on the fly. Even non-technology savvy people can
learn to use the system and create content in a matter of hours. The exercises
are connected through a sophisticated database that creates user report
cards, allowing for students, teachers, administrators and parents access
to students’ test scores and progress reports.
The system includes:
- easy multimedia integration
- a web-based voice recorder that can save audio files to the server
- student report cards, accessible by teachers
- multilingual capabilities for content localization
- easy creation of hybrid CDs, allowing for the installation of multimedia files on the users hard disk to counter broadband issues
- the ability of adding downloadable teacher kits for blended learning.
